 To program a universal air conditioner remote:
1 – Point the remote at the AC.
2 – Press “SET” and the “+ and -” buttons up or down until you have your the chosen AC code, then press “ENTER”
3 – Try the codes for your AC brand and one will work with your AC.
(The list on this page will show the remote codes for your AC brand)
4 – Test all functions of the AC to be sure it works.
5 – If all functions are not working then repeat the above process with a different code.

To program an auto finding code AC remote:
1 – Point the remote at the AC.
2 – Press the “SET” button for 5 seconds and it will begin to find the codes automatically.
3 – Your device will beep when it finds the correct AC code.
4 – Press any key on the remote to stop the search and store the AC code.
5 – Test all functions of the AC to be sure it works.
6 – If all functions are not working then repeat the above process.

NOTE: Some AC units use RF remotes and others use IR remotes.

AUX Air Con Error Codes

Aux Air Conditioner Troubleshooting November 3, 2018 at 9:18 pm If the following phenomena are found, the problem is not from the  air-conditioner itself. Problems The motor is heard operating but the air-conditioner dose not work when the indoor unit is powered on Causes Since the air-conditioner is powered on, it will come to working condition as long as you press the ON/OFF button of the remote control and the Signal is well received. Problems The compressor stops running but the indoor fan motor keeps working when it is at cooling mode with the indoor temperature higher than set temperature. Causes If you turn off the air-conditioner and restart it immediately, it will return to normal in 3 minutes, after that, the air-conditioner will automatically adjust the indoor fan speed to what you set. Acson AC Error Codes and Troubleshooting   The code indication changes as shown below, and notifies with a long beep. Wall Mounted AC Inverter Unit Error Codes Operation / Faulty Indication E1 Room air sensor contact loose / short. Check room sensor connection / change room sensor E2 Indoor coil sensor contact open. Check indoor coil sensor connection / change indoor coil sensor E3 Outdoor coil sensor contact open.
