If any error occurs in your air conditioner, indoor display shows error codes. Following are the error code for respective error: Though your AC shows fault code on the display, it will remain ON for particular faults to make your comfortable. But your have to call service person for repair.

Troubleshooting

Please check below items before asking for maintenance. If the malfunction still can’t be eliminated, please contact local dealer or qualified professionals.

Indoor unit can’t receive remote controller’s signal or remote controller has no action.

Check items

  1. Whether it’s interfered severely (such as static electricity, stable voltage)?
  2. Whether remote controller is within the signal receiving range?
  3. Whether there are obstacles?
  4. Whether remote controller is pointing at the receiving window?
  5. Is sensitivity of remote controller low; fuzzy display and no display?
  6. No display when operating remote controller?
  7. Fluorescent lamp in room?

Solution

  1. Pull out the plug. Reinsert the plug after about 3min, and then turn on the unit again.
  2. Signal receiving range is 8m.
  3. Remove obstacles.
  4. Select proper angle and point the remote controller at the receiving window on indoor unit.
  5. Check the batteries. If the power of batteries is too low, please replace them.
  6. Check whether remote controller appears to be damaged. If yes, replace it.
  7. Take the remote controller close to indoor unit or Turn off the fluoresent lamp and then try it again.

No air emitted from indoor unit

Check items

  1. Air inlet or air outlet of indoor unit is blocked?
  2. Air inlet or air outlet of indoor unit is blocked?
  3. Heating mode is turned on just now?

Solution

  1. Eliminate obstacles.
  2. After reaching to set temperature, indoor unit will stop blowing out air.
  3. In order to prevent blowing out cold air, indoor unit will be started after delaying for sev- eral minutes, which is a normal phenomenon.

Air conditioner can’t operate

Check items

  1. Power failure?
  2. Is plug loose?
  3. Circuit break trips off or fuse is burnt out?
  4. Wiring has malfunction?
  5. Unit has restarted immediately after stopping operation?
  6. Whether the function setting for remote controller is correct?

Solution

  1. Wait until power recovery
  2. Reinsert the plug
  3. Ask professional to replace circuit break or fuse
  4. Ask professional to replace it
  5. Wait for 3min, and then turn on the unit again
  6. Reset the function

Cooling (heating) effect is not good

Check items

  1. Voltage is too low?
  2. Filter is dirty?
  3. Set temperature is in proper range?
  4. Door and window are open?

Solution

  1. Wait until the voltage resumes normal.
  2. Clean the filter.
  3. Adjust temperature to proper range.
  4. Close door and window.

“Water flowing” noise

Check items

  1. Air conditioner is turned on or turned off just now?

Solution

  1. The noise is the sound of refrigerant flowing inside the unit, which is a normal phenomenon.

Cracking noise

Check items

  1. Air conditioner is turned on or turned off just now?

Solution

  1. This is the sound of friction caused by expansion and/or contraction of panel or other parts due to the change of temperature.

Clean Filter

  1. Open panel: Pull out the panel to a certain angle as shown in the fig.
  2. Remove filter: Remove the filter as indicated in the fig.
  3. Use dust catcher or water to clean filter. When the filter is very dirty, use the water (below 45℃) to clean it, and then put it in a shady and cool place to dry.
  4. Install filter: Install the filter and then close the paneş cover tightly.
